Alex Simakov is the head of the Policy Exchange Energy and Environment Unit, with a research focus on energy and climate security in the context of the global energy crisis. He served as Policy Advisor to the Hon. Greg Rickford, the Province of Ontario’s former Minister of Energy, Northern Development & Mines, and worked as a business strategist and government affairs consultant for many of Canada’s leading clean technology companies, with a focus on hydrogen, battery storage, advanced nuclear, and their supply chains.
