Tara Sabre Collier is a sustainable finance advisor to governments and development finance institutions with Chemonics, where she leads the Chemonics-led MOBILIST policy platform. Tara has more than 15 years of experience in impact investing, international development, and corporate strategy. In addition to advising other impact investors and funds, Tara is a visiting fellow at Said Business School, Oxford University. Most recently, she was the gender lead at Shell Foundation. Before that, Tara worked for and with the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the United Nations, Ernst & Young, and GroFin Capital. Tara has worked with governments, investors, entrepreneurs and local businesses in the U.S.A., U.K., U.A.E., Qatar, South Africa, Brazil, Kenya, Nigeria, Peru, Tanzania, Angola, Mozambique, and several other emerging markets. As a Skoll Scholar, Tara earned her M.B.A. at Oxford University. She earned her M.P.A. in international public/non-profit management & policy from New York University and a B.A. in Spanish and international affairs from Spelman College. She speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
